"description": "I worked with Joachim for two years after graduating from university. He offered me a strange job—his art collaborator, his chauffeur, and the guy who brought us A&W or Fujiya bentos for lunch. \nWe created more than a dozen pieces together. He gave me his Canon 5D Mark III as a wedding gift and made me a spray-painting master after hundreds of cans of practice (we used to empty the white spray paints in Home Depots and Canadian Tires all around Greater Vancouver). \nA friend of ours told me today that Joachim passed away last month. The last time I saw him was last year, before I left Vancouver for China. I drove him to a lunch place with vintage cars (he loved vintage cars and guns). He emailed me a YouTube link about old China after I left. Today, when I heard the news, I thought I hadn’t replied to that email. Fortunately, I had. I said I’d host him if he visited China. I don’t know how long this website will be available. Please enjoy Joachim’s art and story while we can.",
